Shoutlet Raises $15 Million

Madison based social media marketing company Shoutlet has raised $15 million in a Series C funding round. The round was lead by FTV Capital of San Francisco and New York. Shoutlet has raised a total of $24.2 million since launching in 2010, and plans to hire 100 people in the Madison area over the next year and a half. More information is available here.

Also in Shoutlet’s space, Buddy Media has recently been acquired by SalesForce.com for $689 million. Buddy Media previously acquired Capital Entrepreneurs alum company Spinback last year.

Shoutlet Launches New Trigger-Based Platform

Madison based social marketing platform Shoutlet was recently featured on TechCrunch after launching their new trigger-based Social Switchboard service. Social Switchboard lets marketers schedule status updates, Tweets, and much more to be automatically published when a specific trigger is hit (such as reaching a certain ‘Like’ count on Facebook, etc). Madison Startup Shoutlet Closes $6m Series B Round

Madison social media marketing platform Shoutlet announced that they’ve raised $6m in series B funding led by American Family Insurance.  Shoutlet’s platform “gives brands and agencies the tools to create, manage, and measure their entire social media communications. Companies using Shoutlet’s platform are able to better design and implement highly targeted campaigns and ultimately improve the business impact of their social media communications.”
